We could not have asked for a better night for family photos in Memphis! There’s something incredibly special about photographing people you love, and this summer session with the Tucker family was just that. Evalyn and I met in college, and somehow, we’ve been friends for nearly a decade. I got to capture their sweet family in the most perfect field, just steps from their front door. I loved getting to capture their family photos and one-year photos for their adorable daughter, Eloise.
It was even more special because I got to spend a couple of days with them, and honestly, it felt like a deep breath. Evalyn has always felt like home, welcoming, easy, and full of heart. We had cozy dinners, played with Eloise (who has some serious dance moves anytime the Beach Boys are playing), and caught up on all the life things. Evalyn even had her famous chocolate chip cookies ready the second I walked in.
I left with a full heart and so much joy. And, I can’t wait for their newest addition to join in on the fun in December!
