The Frazier wedding is one of those wedding days that wedding vendors dream about. It was beautiful, intentional, emotional, and full of meaning from beginning to end. Even more than that, it was personal to me because of my long history with Brianna and the way God so clearly brought her and Max together.
From the very beginning, I knew this day would be special.
I first met Brianna when she was entering her junior year of high school, when I was working on staff with the student ministry at her church. I watched her grow through some of her most formative years, and we stayed loosely connected even as life shifted and changed for both of us.
When she graduated and headed to the University of Tennessee, she met Max, and life continued unfolding in the most unexpected ways. And when Brianna reached out in August of 2025 sharing everything God had done in her life and her plans with Max, I already knew this was going to be something special. I asked her all the questions, the real ones, and celebrated with her knowing just how clearly she had found someone who loved her well.
I officially met Max at their engagement session, which they made the seven hour drive from Tennessee to Mississippi for. I jokingly told him it was a test for my approval, and he passed immediately. The way he cared for Brianna, the way he spoke to her, and the way he looked at her told me everything I needed to know. It was easy to see that what they had was steady, intentional, and deeply genuine.
Their wedding day took place just outside of Nashville at Cedar Creek Yacht Club, a waterfront venue near where Max grew up. It was the perfect setting for a destination wedding filled with meaning and personal history.
The day started with details, laughter, and a dance party that set the tone for everything that followed.
But as the morning went on, we began watching the radar closely.
A storm was moving in, and it looked like it would arrive right before their outdoor ceremony, which was Brianna’s dream. To add to the weight of the moment, they had chosen not to do a first look, which meant every portrait and timing decision mattered even more.
My goal is always to document the day as it unfolds while still protecting my couples and giving them the best possible experience and images. We talked through options together, Brianna and Max made their first big decision as a soon to be married couple, and they chose to trust the day as it was. Rain or shine, they wanted the ceremony outside. Even without a first look, they decided to trust me and take a few portraits together where Max could not see Brianna, and those ended up being some of the most emotional and beautiful images of the entire day. The bridal party rallied around them, helping us move quickly and intentionally through portraits as we watched the weather shift minute by minute.
We paused, prayed, and decided to trust whatever was coming.
Just as the rain was expected to begin, something unexpected happened. The clouds shifted, the radar cleared, and the sun broke through like something straight out of a movie. It felt like one of those moments you cannot manufacture if you tried.
With clear skies overhead, Brianna and Max shared their ceremony at Cedar Creek Yacht Club surrounded by family and friends who had traveled near and far to be there. They exchanged vows, shared communion, and were pronounced husband and wife in one of the most meaningful and peaceful ceremonies I have had the honor of documenting.
After the ceremony, we moved into portraits, celebration, and heartfelt toasts as the reception began. Later in the evening, we stepped out to the pier where Brianna and Max had walked throughout their relationship. The light was soft, the water was still, and everything felt calm.
What happened next was completely unplanned.
A group of strangers nearby offered to take them out on the water at sunset. It turned into one of the most unforgettable moments of the entire day. While out on the water, Brianna shared something she had quietly dreamed of but never arranged. She had always hoped for a boat exit, but did not know anyone with access to make it happen.
In that moment, it felt like another quiet God wink woven into their story.
When we returned to the reception, everyone was smiling, already hearing the story of what had just happened on the water. The night continued with dancing, joy, and celebration before Brianna and Max made their grand exit through a tunnel of sparklers, ending a day that felt almost too meaningful to be real.
A destination wedding in Nashville, Tennessee that was full of answered prayers, unexpected moments, and the kind of love that stays with you long after the night is over.
