It’s always such a joy to photograph families I’ve worked with before, and the Telle family session was no exception. This was my second year capturing Caitlin, her kids, and their beautiful family in Starkville, Mississippi, and it’s moments like these that remind me why I love family photography so much.
Watching a family grow over time is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Year after year, kids change, personalities blossom, and family bonds deepen. By the time a family comes back for a second session, the kids begin to know me. They relax, laugh more freely, and the images become even more authentic and joyful. (And when Annie ran up to me to give me a sticker at the start of the session, my heart almost melted!)
Also, shoutout to Caitlin, she is not only a wonderful client – she’s also a phenomenal supporter of my business. She consistently refers friends and family, shares her experience, and encourages others to document their families through the years. Having clients like Caitlin makes a photographer’s work even more meaningful, because she knows the value of preserving these memories and wants to help other families do the same. Her referrals always mean so much to me! Word of mouth is such a powerful tool, and the main way I grow my business – it means the world to me!

Family photography is more than posed pictures – it’s about connection, growth, and documenting the moments that matter most. Whether it’s your first session or your fifth, every year brings new memories and stories worth preserving.
As a Starkville Mississippi family photographer, I love working with families over time, capturing each season and creating timeless images you’ll treasure forever.

The Frazier wedding is one of those wedding days that wedding vendors dream about. It was beautiful, intentional, emotional, and full of meaning from beginning to end.
