The Raymond Venue is located in the quaint town of Raymond, MS !

The Raymond is a on the historic register and used to be The Raymond Ford Company in the 1920s. It’s historic charm lends a unique atmosphere to our one of kind venue space that you have to see to understand.

The Raymond Venue is one of the top venues that I love, especially as a photographer. The natural light that fills the room, the attention to detail in every space they provide, and the bridal suite (and BRAND NEW grooms area, the Bird Dog) give you the perfect space to get ready for your best day with all of your favorite people in an environment that allows you to soak in every single moment.

The options for your wedding portraits are endless, both on site and right out the front door. It sits in the middle of the cutest historic downtown that is picturesque, one might say (the courthouse is a DREAM!) This venue will have your friends and family talking, your pictures glowing, and it has everything you need and so much more.

Meet Leah – “In 2019 when we saw this old building that sat empty for decades in the heart of downtown Raymond I knew that it was a sign from above. I had envisioned it many times over the years and could literally see it lit up in lights and the people coming and goingIt has been my honor to help breathe new life and energy into this space in the heart of our downtown historic district. All while getting to work alongside our amazing team.”

Meet Tara – “…a business is more than its books and its systems. During my years as an accountant and auditor, I learned this. These years prepared me for what college could not. I learned that a business, at its core, is people. People and all their hard work and creativity. I knew it would take the right people to realize the dream of having my own business one day. I get to live my dream every day. We get to be a part of a community of celebration and light. And if you know us at all, you know we LOVE to celebrate.”

Why did you choose to open The Raymond Venue?

Our goal was to bring folks together, support community, and celebrate! We just started our 4th year of The Raymond Venue!

What is your favorite moment during the wedding day?

We LOVE that we get to witness and host two families joining together into a one.

Why is it worth invest in a good wedding venue?

It’s important to find the venue that fits you. We highly recommend engaging the the touring process to fully take in what each venue offers. It’s also a great time to see what a venue’s people and processes are like. We truly believe if you are meant to get married here you will.

What is your biggest piece of advice for a bride planning their wedding?

Enjoy the day. Enjoy your moments. You will be married by the end of the day and will not get to experience it again. You both will be supported by all the people that love you the most and they are here to celebrate you. Soak it in and have fun. Cheers!
