The Reed House at Live Oaks is every southern brides dream.
The first time I drove up to The Reed House at Live Oaks, I remember feeling as if I had entered a storybook. The large live oaks create a dreamy, elegant backdrop to your wedding day, while the venue itself features tall ceilings and massive windows that let you bring the beauty from outside, inside too. They have a large space that can be tailored to fit your wedding day, no matter how big or small.
This gorgeous venue is worth a look, and I promise after you see it you will understand why it made this list! Picturing your wedding day here is easy, and I hope you love this venue as much as I do!
The Reed House at Live Oaks is easily accessible from Hwy 220. It is located on Live Oaks Golf course where the Groom and his party can golf the morning of, eat at the Roosevelt Restaurant onsite, and be on property ready to go when they are needed for photos! While the bride and her girls enjoy their spacious bridal suite that provides everything you could need as you get ready for your best day!

Here is a little bit about Jennifer and The Reed House at Live Oaks-
I am 38 years old, Mom of 3, and native to Mobile, AL. I moved here in 2009 after graduating from University of Alabama. Being from the Coast, I love a good party! I love seeing Bride’s visions come to life and seeing the varying amounts of creativity! The Reed House is a simply stunning Venue surrounded by beautiful Live Oak trees so we really wanted to provide a modern, sleek “blank canvas” to allow Brides to do as little or as much as they want to make their vision come to life.
Why did you choose to work at The Reed House at Live Oaks?
I love working around events! Although I do not actually plan the event, I work hand in hand with the Planners, Caterers, and Floral/decor teams to ensure a smooth event. I have been at The Reed House at Live Oaks for almost two years now.
What is your favorite moment during the wedding day?
My favorite moment on Wedding Day is probably getting to witness the Bride’s reaction when seeing everything for the first time! The couple’s first dance is probably a close second!
When it comes to wedding planning, what should i invest in?
It is important to invest in an experienced wedding planner because we can navigate challenges, offer creative solutions, and ensure a smooth, stress-free celebration. A wedding planner brings expertise, trusted industry connections, and attention to detail that can make your special day truly exceptional.
What is something you offer that brides may not be aware of?
The Reed House at Live Oaks offers an exquisite Bridal Cottage for the Bride and her party to relax and get ready the day of. The Reed House was voted ‘Best Outdoor Venue’ in 2023 by Mississippi Magazine!
What is your biggest piece of advice for a bride planning their wedding?
Breathe, take in every moment, and enjoy!!
